Winter wedding at The Garrison

Winter weddings are just as gorgeous as any other season. The Garrison wedding uniting Sarah and Brendan was a spectacular winter event. The couple chose the perfect Hudson Valley venue for their special day. The wedding party, along with the guests, joyfully celebrated Sarah and Brendan’s love.  It’s always a pleasure for me to photograph Hudson Valley weddings and The Garrison wedding is no exception.

The Details

Every detail of this December wedding was elegant. The ceremony took place at sunset—making everything even more magical. I must say the adorable flower girl, wearing a white dress and throwing white rose petals,  almost stole the show. The bride’s dreamy, long-sleeved gown from Bliss by Monique Lhoullier was simply stunning. And Sarah’s bridesmaids complemented her look with. The flowers created by Jessica Logan Designs and candles provided the perfect finishing touches to this elegant winter wedding. 

The Venue

As a Garrison wedding photographer, I am always amazed by this incredibly romantic venue. The Garrison is conveniently located in the Hudson Valley about an hour north of New York City. It includes 300 acres of pristine nature including outstanding views of the Hudson River and the Catskill mountains. The huge windows allow you to connect with the nature that is surrounding you. I think you will really appreciate the amazing work of their wedding team and in-house culinary team.
