Each of them is different and offers beautiful setting, perfect for a wedding. Take a look at my favorite venues part one, I’m sure you will find something that speaks to you.

      1. Crossed Key Estate

      The Crossed Key Estate, located in Andover, NJ, is the perfect historic location for an elegant wedding set in the countryside.  You’ll feel at peace on the property of this gorgeous, historic estate.       This venue has a lot of history!  The property was built in the 1790s as an escape from city life.  The rustic charm of Andover, NJ and the peaceful sprawling meadows and trees has carried through to today.  Crossed Key Estate offers both indoor and outdoor reception options and a newly built Farmhouse. You are guaranteed the privacy your wedding deserves as Crossed Keys Estate only holds 1 wedding per day.  The property also boasts 5 on-site rooms, a balcony above the ceremony garden, a reflecting pool, lawn games, and a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs.

      2. Pleasantdale Chateau

      Pleasantdale Chateau is truly a dream New Jersey wedding venue.  When you enter the property through the iconic gatehouse entrance, your world will be transformed into a fairytale.  The setting is secluded, almost a hideaway from everyday life.  

      Located in West Orange, New Jersey, this wedding venue, Pleasantdale Chateau boasts being the “most exclusive, private, and sought-after venue for weddings and other private events.”  This majestic, yet serene property is filled with formal gardens, meticulously manicured grounds, ponds, bridges, and gazebos. Pleasantdale Chateau is proud of being inclusive; all are welcome to get married here.  This venue is full of photo opportunities for your photographer and guests. Chef Robert Albers leads the in-house culinary team in creating a customized menu, often featuring organic produce grown on site. I must also mention the salon and barbershop that will help guests get ready for your wedding.  The venue also accommodates to all types of travelers; the estate’s heliport can help you arrive in style.       3. Battello

      Battello is located in Jersey City, with Manhattan clearly in view.  Batello weddings will feature the high ceilings, unforgettable skyline views, and world-class cuisine.  The location of Battello is also noteworthy, as it is conveniently close to multiple hotels and transportation options.  

      Battello is an elegant New Jersey wedding venue with stunning views and an amazing staff.  Not only does Battello offer unparalleled views, the space is absolutely divine. The high ceilings and exposed beams reveal a subtle industrial vibe.  There is also a ceremony space should you decide to get married on-site. You will fall in love with the gorgeous setting and spectacular food options. Their base package includes a cocktail hour and they also offer seated dinner receptions, a custom wedding cake, and 5-hour premium open bar— all in a sought-after location that you will have all to yourself.

      4. Waterloo Village

      The Waterloo Village is a unique New Jersey wedding venue.  Located in Stanhope, NJ, this venue has a very rustic feel. The historic park features a barn, homes, buildings, an old working mill, and a church.  This rich history could be the perfect backdrop for your big day!

      Waterloo Village offers two options for an outdoor wedding— at the park’s beautiful white gazebo, or under the boughs of an old tree.  There are two other indoor facilities that couples can use for their wedding ceremony. One is the meeting house, which holds up to 200 guests.  The other is the rustic pavilion, complete with stone fireplaces and wooden columns. In addition to spaces for your ceremony and reception, you can also host bridal showers and engagement parties at Waterloo Village.  Four-legged family members are invited to this pet-friendly space! The bridal suite and an assigned event coordinator will help you get everything done the day of the wedding. Experienced bartenders are provided for an open bar in the barn; they’ll serve the best local beer and even create signature drinks for your wedding day.  Professional chefs can create a menu that best fits your needs, whether you wish to host a buffet, family style, or plated meal.

      5. Bonnet Island Estate | Manahawkin

      Bonnet Island Estate, located in Manahawkin, New Jersey, is a private coastal island! And it had to be included in my most interesting New Jersey wedding venues list.  The words that come to mind when describing this New Jersey wedding venue would be: elegant, majestic, sophisticated, and luxurious.  If you are looking for a waterfront New Jersey wedding, look no further. Bonnet Island Estate is a venue like no other.  

       The best part of Bonnet Island Estate might be the option to rent the entire estate for the weekend!  The charming coastal buildings are ornately decorated and set in the most beautiful backdrop. The Boathouse Chapel is a restored chapel transported to the property piece by piece.  It features timber frames, barn-style doors, and a cozy and romantic river stone fireplace. You will love photos set in the gardens and along the water, overlooking a bay. The reception space is complete with 30-foot high ceilings with waterfront views and dazzling chandeliers.

      6. The Ashford Estate

      The Ashford Estate, located in Monmouth County, NJ, is a gorgeous New Jersey wedding venue.  The estate boasts a stately mansion, complete with an iron gate entry with classic guard lion sculptures.  If you have the chance to visit this property, you will swoon over the luxurious venue!

      The Ashford’s beautiful design features 30-acres of sculptures, fountains, waterfalls, gardens, and a floating gazebo.  All of this is located in the midst of preserved farmland, giving the property a serene and secluded feeling. The barn chapel, carriage house, and grand ballroom have been meticulously preserved.  Some of the indoor spaces include a solid oak library, conservatory, sitting rooms, and verandas— perfect for guests to gather and mingle during a cocktail hour. The ornate guest suites could go up against suites in the finest hotels.  This venue offers a handicap accessible indoor event space and reception area. They offer three different delectable catering options to fit your needs. There are two options for renting The Ashford— full estate rental including accommodations or 5-hour rental of the venue, including an on-site ceremony.

      7. The Liberty House

      The Liberty House is a New Jersey wedding venue that boasts spectacular views and an elegant event space.  The event space is located at the Liberty House restaurant, located on the New Jersey waterfront facing Manhattan.  Your guests will enjoy the character of this beautiful building and its priceless views.

      This New Jersey wedding venue features spectacular views of the New York City skyline, Ellis Island, Lady Liberty, and the Liberty Landing Marina.  The floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed woodwork are just a few of the little details that make this space so special.       8. The Inn at Fernbrook Farms

      Located in New Jersey’s rural Chesterfield Township, The Inn at Fernbrook Farms is the perfect location for a peaceful and elegant celebration.  The outdoor country charm will captivate your senses and leave you with a sense of home. The greenery and stunning views across 230 acres of farmland and gardens are a highlight.  The indoor settings include elegant decor that captures the country charm of this New Jersey wedding venue.

      The Inn at Fernbrook Farms offers both indoor and outdoor venue spaces and three ceremony locations— Sundial Garden, Old House, and Great Lawn.  Each has a unique charm and can hold large or small parties.       9. Tides Estate

      The Tides Estate is an elegant banquet hall venue located in Haledon, New Jersey.  The space is complete with 26-foot tall ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers, and a spiral staircase that will help you make an entrance your guests will not forget.  Past guests have described this New Jersey venue as “first class” and “magical.” 

      The Tides Estate offers options for both intimate and more lavish weddings.  The Belmont and Manchester rooms are stylish options for smaller gatherings, while leaving enough space for dinner and dancing.  The Grand Ballroom will hold up to 400 guests for those of you who want everyone included on your special day! Annually, The Tides Estate holds upwards of 300 events, a true testament to their hard work and dedication.  Dining options at this venue are as refined as the space itself. Servers are available to serve champagne and strawberries while they wait, cocktail hour options are not complete without a hand-carved ice sculpture, and the seated, multiple course dinners offer a host of tempting cuisine.

      10. TPC Jasna Polana

      This country club wedding venue in Princeton, NJ is an elegant and exclusive property conveniently located between New York City and Philadelphia.  There are a variety of event spaces at TPC Jasna Polana to fit your needs. Sprawling over 230 acres of land in the countryside, this picturesque New Jersey wedding venue will wow your wedding guests.

      There are both ceremony and reception spaces located at TPC Jasna Polana, spread across the massive mansion and estate.  Some of the spaces include dining areas, lounges, and banquet halls. All inclusive wedding packages are available to ensure a flawless wedding weekend.  TPC Jasna Polana also offers plenty of options for accommodations.       The Mansion at Natirar is historic estate venue located in Somerset County.  The Events Team boasts creating a custom affair for each wedding so that the event is as unique and memorable as your love story.  From the custom cuisine options to the vast wine cellar, this New Jersey wedding venue is world class.  

      Chef David C. Felton works to create a menu for your wedding using the freshest ingredients available.  Couples are welcome to choose from a variety of customizable menus that are offered. Natirar’s Wine Director can guide you through their extensive wine selection to find the perfect flavor profile for your evening.  There are also multiple event spaces to accommodate small groups or larger guest lists.

      12.Hamilton Farm Golf Club

      This historic countryside wedding venue features beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces.  It all began in 1911 as an elegant country estate. The staff at Hamilton Farm Golf Club pay tribute to this legacy by continuing to provide excellent service and unparalleled hospitality.  

      All weddings at Hamilton Farm Golf Club include use of the event space and full catering staff.  Some of the spaces offered include the mansion, the lawn, the restored historic garden, and a new ballroom.  Whether you are interested in the indoor or outdoor event spaces, you will fall in love with this elegant property.  Hamilton Farm also offers on-site accommodations.

      13.The Ryland Inn

      Built in 1796, the Ryland Inn features equestrian luxury in rural New Jersey.  Located off of Old Highway 28 in Whitehouse Station, NJ, this quaint and elegant New Jersey wedding venue will take your breath away.  This wedding venue features an outdoor and indoor event spaces. The Ryland Inn is located in the quaint Whitehouse Station in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

      The Ryland Inn is a former country home and stagecoach stop reimagined into a luxury venue.  As you step into the Grand Ballroom, you are met with exposed wood beams, unique plank flooring, a large hearth fireplace, and spiral chandeliers.  The 30-foot windows allow natural light to fill the room. The Coach House is another beautifully redesigned space. Originally built 200 years ago as a barn, many materials were reused to create an authentic, yet dramatic look.

      14.The Park Savoy Estate

      Located in Florham Park, New Jersey, The Park Savoy Estate has over 50 years of expertise as a wedding venue.  This historic estate is set amongst plentiful gardens and rolling hills. The home itself was built in 1870 by an affluent early New Jersey settler.  The original home still stands, restored to its original glory, and ready to make your wedding an event to remember.

      The Park Savoy Estate has an interesting backstory.  Although originally built as a home, the structure was used as a speakeasy in the 1920s.  Famous figures, such as Charles Lindbergh and Charles Edison, once roamed the grand halls of this glamorous venue.  Later, the building was transformed into a country club. The new renovations to The Park Savoy Estate have brought back its former grandeur and created a truly unique New Jersey wedding venue.  The gardens take inspiration from 19th-century gardens and they are complete with water features and lush greenery. The interior design is modeled after French architecture, boasting beautiful chandeliers and large windows with garden views.  I cannot fail to mention the dining experience at The Park Savoy Estate— couples can choose from a range of catering options, from sushi to caviar.       15. Skylands Manor

      Skylands Manor by Frungillo Caterers is a glamorous wedding venue located in Ringwood, New Jersey.  Some would describe this venue as having a magical feel. The acres upon acres of botanical gardens are set in the midst of 1,000 acres of natural woodlands.  The Tudor Revival Mansion is in the middle of it all, a structure we could easily call a castle and no one would question it. Skylands Manor offers multiple event spaces and a chapel in the orchard for a ceremony space.

      Frungillo Caterers have been in business for over 40 years, giving them the experience necessary to make sure your big day runs smoothly.  It really does seem like they have thought of everything! The manor includes a banquet hall and a smaller room for events. The architecture was inspired by the Gothic and Renaissance eras, creating a stylish and eclectic vibe with a multitude of photo ops.  There are 24 hotel rooms available for the wedding party and guests. Felina offers a multitude of services that will help your day to be a smashing success.

      The event space is truly remarkable— marble pillars, loft ceilings, and a wraparound mezzanine make the room complete without adding anything else.  The wooden and brick details create a rustic ambiance. On top of the elegant space, the team at Felina works hard to make your day remarkable. Calling themselves the “Memory Makers,” these chefs, event stylists, and directors work together to seamlessly bring your wedding day vision to light.  Felina offers an Italian-inspired menu that is headed by executive chef Anthony Bucco and chef d’cuisine Martyna Krowicka. They make use of fresh and local ingredients when possible and always select sustainably-sourced ingredients.
