Before you had kids, you didn't understand what your friends meant when they said: "The days are long, but the years are short." But now... you understand. All too well. And it makes you choke up just thinking about it.
Because yes, every day is exhausting. But you wouldn't change a thing.
So it’s only natural that you want photographs that freeze this time of your life. Photos that showcase the unique personalities of each your kids and highlight the love you have for one another.
But you worry that maybe now isn’t the *right* time. Maybe your home is a mess. Your kids are a little “all over the place.” And your husband isn’t exactly thrilled to be photographed.

These everyday, real life moments are precious. And fleeting.
Let me tell you: Now is all we’re guaranteed.
So, now is the perfect time.
Your concerns are close to my heart.
You see, as a mother of two boys, I too wished for cherished moments of our family captured in beautiful photographs.
And just like you, I felt overwhelmed at the idea of getting perfect photos and having the perfect experience.
But after years of endlessly photographing my own kids and other families, here's what I know is true:
Perfect doesn't exist. Instead, the most beautiful moments (and photos) are real families experiencing real moments of joy and tenderness.
And that is what I hope to capture for you
I like to begin by getting to know you and your family.
We will set up a phone call, zoom or face time so I can learn about you and your family, and answer any question you may have.
We will schedule a date and location that works best for you and your family. You may consider choosing to stay in the comfort of your own home or backyard, or we can adventure out to a wooded trail, garden or perhaps more of an urban setting.
We will discuss outfit options and I will share with you my advice and inspiration board.
You shouldn't have to wait days, weeks or even a month to see photographs from our time together! That's why I'll take time to hand-edit your memories while at the same time delivering sneak peeks to your inbox within 48 hours after your session.
“Monika captured us and our family in such a beautiful and thoughtful way. The images are stunning, showing the real us, with lots of life and true moments of joy and tenderness. Monika has a lovely presence and works patiently and quietly yet has everyone and everything under control”.

"She makes you feel incredibly comfortable. I've had two mini sessions with my children (4 and 7) and they absolutely adore her. She's funny and makes them laugh, so the pictures come out beautiful and so natural. It's just so much fun!"
