I’m so excited to share with you Adam and Amy’s elegant and classic wedding at the historic Roundhouse. Everyone enjoyed the lovely day at The Roundhouse, a beautiful event space located in charming Beacon, a city in New York’s Hudson Valley. Its convenient location, right in the heart of Beacon, adds to the historic charm of this gorgeous property. Locals and New Yorkers alike enjoy the appeal of downtown Beacon, which is only a train ride away from Grand Central Station. The Roundhouse offers a lovely industrial space that can host intimate weddings with 120 guests or less or larger weddings with up to 200 guests. There is an outdoor ceremony space as well as an indoor option; in case of inclement weather. The indoor option does not disappoint; it faces floor-to-ceiling windows with outdoor views — a perfect backup plan. The Roundhouse property also includes a hotel where guests can stay. In addition, Beacon is known for bed-and-breakfasts and boutique hotels, such as these:
No matter what you dream of for your wedding, Beacon offers something special for you and your fiance. Because the town is so close to historic sites and other important towns and cities, it has much to offer. We enjoyed wandering the streets of Beacon and stopping occasionally to capture beautiful photos of Adam and Amy. We found rustic buildings and quaint outdoor spots near trails and railroad tracks for spectacular, unique photos before their ceremony began.
After taking photos of the couple, the groom and groomsmen relaxed at the bar before the ceremony. Amy walked down the aisle in a lace-detailed dress from Kleinfield Bridal and designed by Anne Barge. Greenery provided a majestic backdrop for the ceremony, and beautiful floral arrangements by Whimsy Weddings decorated the lawn and wedding arch. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with small plates and bites on the terrace while enjoying live, acoustic music. The elegant table decor and menus added to the rustic feel of the room that featured exposed brick walls, tall ceilings, natural light, and hanging edison-bulb light fixtures. This classic wedding at the historic Roundhouse will bring back warm memories for years to come! Congratulations, Adam and Amy!
